Macam mana berlaku?
1. Estrogen 
2. Progesteron
3. Emotional craving
4. Eating craps
5. Less workout.

Semua di atas tu, akan menyebabkan water retention. Macam mana?

1. Sebelum period hormon estrogen akan meningkat. Jadi hormon ni akan bagi signal kat badan get ready to bleed, makanya badan akan retain water. Sebab tak nak kita dehydrates bila kita bleed nanti. 

2. Bila dah period, the water weight will be released slowly sebab kita bleed. However, the emotional roller coaster takes in. Haha the beauty of hormone. Jadinya kita start la makan macam-macam. Time ni la tetiba nak makan manis, nak makan masin, nak makan masam. Semuaaaa tu, leads to water retention (againn??๐Ÿ˜ฑ)

3. Masa period jugak selalunya kita teringin nak makan junks and craps (senang citer). So kita pun dengan redhanya blame it on the hormone ๐Ÿ˜ craps mean = overdose sugar, overdose sodium = water retention (never ending stories).

4. Bila dah hujung-hujung period plak, progesteron kicks in. Untuk prepare badan kot-kot nak pregnant. Progesteron jugak akan buat badan simpan air untuk persediaan pregnancy tu. So yes, again, water retention ( almost the end ๐Ÿ˜‚).

5. Masa period especially kalau yang heavy memang malas nak workout kan? Kalau tak heavy bleeding pun memang time period penyakit MALAS tu jadi 5x ganda. So, macam mana nak hilang water retention tu, tak berpeluh langsung? Gitu je la citernye. Haha 

So, should u feel sad? No.
Should you indulge? No. 
Should you eating craps? No. 
Should you just blame the hormone? No..or maybe Yes. ๐Ÿ˜

You should be grateful if you gain weight during your menses because that means your body function well as they should. Bersyukur sebab sebagai wanita hanya kita je dapat pengalaman macam tu. And its normal. 

Oh btw, you can gain 500g to 5kg during your menses so dont be suprised ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

Jika nak berat maintain ketika period, jaga selera makan dengan amalkan 'smart snacking' dan juga minum lebih banyak air masak. 

Untuk pastikan metabolisma kekal aktif, buat aktiviti 'low impact' seperti banyakkan berjalan, naik turun tangga, atau buat senaman yoga atau pilates.

Smart snacking maksud makan buah tinggi fiber.

  2. Yups...memang boleh rase sangat badan naik masa period. Especially, 1st to 3rd day. Sekarang tengah consitent work out. Alhamdulillah..dah nampak hasil yang positif. Kita tunggu lagi 2 bulan. Cukup 3 bulan up satu review. Hehehe..
